The use of pungent, spicy, delicious ginger juice from nature has been going on since ancient times. 

In Sanskrit it is called 'Shringveer', whose deities also used to consume.

 It has been considered as a domestic medicine. In the scriptures, it is also adorned with the name of Mahoushad, Vishwaushadh or Vishva. 

'Ardark' means 'humid'. Till moist, it becomes ginger and dry when dry. 

Its effect is moist in cold form and hot in dry form. It has been called force booster in Charaka Samhita. 

Ginger does not spoil when dried. It is light in weight.

Chemical organization

Therefore, it keeps all the blood flowing to the airways, lungs, ears, nose, throat, brain, heart, stomach and feet.

Ginger is a substance produced in the ground. It is cultivated in the month of Chaitra and Baisakh. It is of two types - fibrous and non-fibrous.

It is fibrous. This is native ginger. Whether it is tea, vegetable, pickle or medicine, ginger is often used in all. Some people use ginger dried and used as dry ginger.

Properties of ginger - rough, incisive, ras- bitter, vipak bitter-semen-hot.


Medicinal properties of ginger:

(1) Cough -  Mixing equal amount of ginger juice and honey in cough, drinking milk or tea twice a day provides relief in both dry and wet cough.

(2) On boils and pimples - By grinding wet ginger, boils and pimples are cured soon. It is also rubbed and applied to the knots.

(3) Ascites - Drinking its fresh juice of ascites gives a lot of relief because the patient gets plenty of urine.

 It should be fed according to the need and endurance of the patient. 

Flooding of the stomach like a mushroom is called ascites disease and ginger is a great enemy of ascites. 

Extract the juice by crushing fifty grams of ginger. Drinking it mixed with Salam Mishri in the morning will benefit.

(4) Joint pain- In joint pain, take 1 kg of ginger juice, half kg of spleen oil and offer it on the fireplace,

(i) Humid Garic Vati -

Benefits Of Ginger Juice   


(1) Do not eat sour, curd, lassi etc.
